Testimonials
henryford_test Edw. C. Levy Co.:  The Cultural Concierge was initiated by Cultural Alliance Board Member Evan Weiner, Chief Operating Officer of the Edw. C. Levy Co. and chairman of The Henry Ford, who partnered with thought leaders within Southeastern Michigan’s cultural arts sector to make the concept a reality. “It is exciting to see the launch of this collaborative initiative,” said Weiner. “We are all optimistic about the potential it has to strengthen the bond between the business and cultural arts communities.”

Homeschoolers:  “LIGHT Homeschool is delighted with the many opportunities The Cultural Concierge provides,” says Penny Armbruster, board member. “We previously found it difficult to navigate the overwhelming number of arts institutions offerings. The Cultural Concierge listened to my interests and then provided a list of the various arts performances that perfectly aligned with our home schooling educational mission. This is an invaluable service to individuals and groups who share this same passion for the arts.”

Detroit Chamber Winds & Strings:  "We are proud to be a founding member of The Cultural Concierge and are glad to play a part in building new audiences for arts and culture in the region,” said Maureen Kickham, Director of Marketing Services. “Having a group of likeminded organizations working together towards that goal  is key—we could never do it alone.”

The Arts League of Michigan:   "We are proud to be included in the stellar group of arts-focused organizations that make up the Cultural Alliance, and that utilize the services of the Cultural Concierge. The latter has proven to be a valuable networking aid and has clearly helped us to introduce our new venue to broader segments of the public which we might not have reached on our own. One event hosted at the Carr Center brought a truly new audience of 69 police chiefs to the Center.  The Cultural Concierge does for us what we often neither have the time nor the social connections, to do.

Joan Moore, president of The Arbor Consulting Group, a national human resources consulting firm, said her first experience with The Cultural Concierge sold her on the value of the program. Moore said The Cultural Concierge was easy to use, and provided an enjoyable experience for everyone involved. “Working with The Cultural Concierge gave our group the opportunity to have a unique experience that would not have been possible otherwise,” she said.
